Meet the Staff:
Pastor Torres, Camp Sponsor and Senior Pastor
Pastor Torres conducts an illustrated sermon for the youth at the 2008 International Bible Boot Camp in La Rumorosa, Mexico.
Pastor Torres leads an experienced team of American and Mexican pastors, evangelists, youth pastors and workers in conducting the Spiritual Phase of the Believers Boot Camp. The camp is part of his overall vision to impart spiritual discipline, moral integrity and Godly destiny in the hearts of Mexican and American youth. Every year, hundreds of young people make a decision here for Christ. At the end of the camp, the youth engage in a day of soul-winning in support of a local pioneer church. For many, this is the first step in a life of fruitfulness and faithfulness in the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Moynihan, Senior Drill Instructor
Pastor Moynihan is the senior drill instructor at the International Bible Believers Youth Boot Camp in La Rumorosa, Mexico. A former soldier before his conversion to Christ in 1991, he pastors the Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church in Oceanside, California. His drill instructor team includes former military from both sides of the border as well as coaches, youth leaders and others with solid Christian testimonies and ministry experience.
When Pastor Moynihan enlisted in the Army in 1983, the military gave him the discipline and sense of purpose that his rebellious life lacked. However, even military discipline could not cure him of the curse of sin. He was saved/born again in 1991 and left the military shortly afterward to pursue the call of God in Christian ministry. The five day Bible Boot Camp combines the discipline and challenge of a military environment with the life-changing spiritual power of Jesus Christ.
Sister Moynihan Leads the Women's Drill Instructor group
Sister Moynihan is a pastor's wife and former US Army officer. She left the military to pursue the call of God for her and her husband. She leads the female Drill Instructors at the camp. The International Bible Boot Camp is a coed but Godly environment where girls and boys are appropriately segregated to help them focus on their spiritual growth. God's love is revealed by the exampleship and teaching of mature men and women of God with proven ministry.
